Fixing a story !!!

 Hey Sushi fam and welcome to my blog,

We are learning about surface features surface features are little bits that fix your story like punctuation, spelling and repeated words. Make it easier for other people to read.

so that is why surface features are important

On our Room Nine site and make a copy of a writing document and it had someones amazing story without surface features so we fixed the story  and now it makes sense. Here is the writing I changed 

He kept absolutely still as the footsteps got louder. He tried not to suffocate as  laid

under the bed he was wondering what had happened to his brother and his family. The man with the knife

in his hand stormed around the house.

 Mum has had boyfriends before but we had not thought that they would ever find us.

 Maybe he was one of them looking for revenge. But why would he come? Mum w ould just move and how did he find us? We live on the other side of the planet from where all of mum's boyfriends

 were so how could he find us? He might have put a tracker on mum when he last saw her or on one of her devices

Fia fia Night

Hey guys,

 I  am back and sorry for not posting in a while but im back to entertain you little beans again. So I'm going to tell you about FiaFia. 

First  I will tell you when FiaFia started so it started in September 25th It was really embarrassing  im the person in  a purple dress with some black designs as i went inside i saw so much cultural food my Favorite was SUSHI load of people took so many videos and pictures  while we where performing.

Tree Planting at Spring-field

 Hey guys and welcome to my blog,

Today  I will be telling you guys about tree planting.

So first we went to Springfield  while we are  Going to Spring-field I am in the car with  Zahina,Sonnie,Talisa,Mereana,Freya, And some other Trusted Trekkers and health leaders. Soon we went to the big Donut We took some photos of us  Next to the big donut As soon as that was over we went to Jenny's farm To plant some trees  We also took more pictures there  1 hour Later  soon we got our lunch box's and Ate our morning tea we had a little break We where so proud of ourselves Planting more tree for New Zealand. We went  and saw some animals. Soon we went back had lunch and played for  a few minutes  then Eddie broke his Arm .Then we saw more animals. then we Went to school and went home and I lied in my bed Sleeping. THE END.

One day on a hot summer day it was so hot.   Anne said, ”I am so hot that my face is going to melt. “  Anne and Divine were lying in the bedroom with the fan blowing at their faces.

Soon it was  starting to get hotter and  soon they were to hot and bored to get up there cheeks are red and very wet with sweat soon they heard a Bang soon they ran outside with the speed of light they were worried that something bad happened and they were  right  there was a car crash but no  one was in the cars. They were starting to freak out. They were so scared that it was like they had a sugar rush and soon they rushed to their mom and dad's room. But they knew that there parents would not believe them

My Writing for Term 3

Hello my readers,

Today I have  another post about my writing me and my class have been learning about Onomatopoeia.

It is when you put sounds in your writing to make sound more incredible. we had to write about this race and we had to be the boy\girl  here is the video

 we all have made some sentences as a practice here are my sentences.

The wind was rushing past my face , ‘whssss’.

I ran so fast that I could hear my feet thudding.

I could hear the coach yelling instructions.

I  could hear my coach blowing his whistle very loudly

I heard the starting gun shoot threw the air and back down

I  also made a story it is pretty short so it wont take that long to read it.

A 10 year old girl runs a 800m race

One day I went to a race and I could hear the crowd cheering for their children. Now that the race starts I was third place. I started to get faster and then past the other racers I started to gain all my energy. l

came so fast that dirt came off of me soon the other racers started to gain up on me instead we were right next each other so i tried to  gain all my energy  to past him and I did I had one more lap to go i was all puffed up could hear my 

coach saying’’RUN RUN Keep Going,,

I could hear my feet thudding i was almost there i was halfway thru until I am finished I could hear my parents cheering I was getting energized again and zoomed threw past the other runners i was started to gain all my energy I did not want to stop so kept running just a few more  miles until I was done soon. 

I was finally finished the race and i became first place I was so proud of myself.

Winter Sports part 2

Hey Guys,

Today is another day to talk about winter sport. Yesterday I was played some SOCCER my team lost but it was fun. I also did some RUGBY we learned how to catch the ball we also played rob the nest. Had so much fun I want to play volleyball next FRIDAY  I hope we get to play it but we will have to find out next  FRIDAY or  SUNDAY  well please tell me in your comments if you have played any of these sports its fine if you played.

Term 2 writing 2

Today I will be telling you about my learing this term. This term we have been doing some discriptive writing.

Today we did sick sentences.We changed the boring sentences and we made them Exicting. Here is my

WARNING 

DO NOT READ THIS AT NIGHT 

One day in the attic a  girl named Anna came back from a funeral. She had dark blonde hair and she loved the color black she loved to watch black and white movies. 

Until one day when she went to the attic and she found this old mirror when she touched it it felt like water she was having so much  but what she did not know that   when it is 3 am her reflection can come alive  and watch her sleep.

One day in the afternoon she went to the attic and found out that her reflection was not there  so she started to wonder but she tripped on a log and fell in the mirror soon she became a ghost but she could only leave at 3am.

Soon she saw her reflection walking around soon Anna started to freak out she tried to break the mirror but she could not it was almost 3am soon she had one hour of freedom when it was 4 am she started to fade into the mirror  and then she  was back

To the mirror she had to figure out how to break the mirror so she could become free  but she needed to wait until 3am  to smash the mirror but soon she started to fall asleep but she forgot about her reflection  when she woke up and knew something was wrong. Soon she saw her reflection.

 And she saw her  throw the window  so she needed to figure out how to get out of the mirror it was almost 3am  when it was 3 am she started to try and smash it but it would not break so she knew that something was wrong so she thought maybe she was cursed so she put her hand on the wall and  she went  throw it so she knew that she was cursed.

Soon at 4 am she heard her family yelling her name she really wanted to go to her parents but she couldn't  she started to get a little worried she knew that messed up but soon her parents stop and went inside and they went inside the attic her parents saw her in the mirror  they tried to get her out but they couldn't soon at 3am she stared fade out of the mirror and in the arm of her parents then Anna and her parent worked together and they finally smashed the mirror.

Question time!

How did Angela survive the great flood? She was the only one  because he listened

Can you make a list of all of the things Angela needs to survive? 

How will she obtain them all?

She needs fresh clothes, fresh water, cooked food  and he needs something to shower with.

What are the biggest dilemmas that Angela faces? 

That she can't get out because of the water and she is at the bottom of the sea

He could make submarine that has supplies

How will he overcome them?

Maybe if he takes a deep breath he could make it to dry land.

Is she alone?

Angela had Dark blonde hair. She was very brave and she was also very artistic. She loves to look at the fish and she was very fast as well. She loves the color turquoise. she 

 She loves animals so she is VEGAN. 

Angela was the only person who had taken notice of the warning. A great flood had swept over the planet, and now life was very different. So she had to get prepared. 

He bought some supplies for the time flood. When the flood started she went in the

tank with all her art supplies and her food and some plants. she would stay in the tank for days she was all alone she would still draw  and then she would count the fish and the  fish would look back at her.

 Sometimes the fish would look at their reflections.Angela was really lonely but she did not  get out of the tank. She kept drawing and drawing to cheer her up. She sleeps in the broken house sometimes even outside the house.

It was just her boring routine everyday it will be the same. One day Angela was so bored she fell asleep and fish still will look at their reflections.

 When she woke up she kept looking at her fishy friends who were starting to get good at looking at their reflection.

 Soon a whole mountain of fish were near the tank looking at their reflection. Angela loved the attention but she wanted to be on dry land again. So she tried thinking of some ideas she thought would work like she took a deep breath.

 She probably made it or built a submarine or even a boat that looked like a giant fish. But on the other side she thought it was not going to work.

My Maths Thinking

Heyyyy  my amazing readers welcome to my blog.

Today I will be telling you about my maths. Yesterday my class and I where doing some maths pattern.We talked about dot we had to use math questions. Most of my class noticed the shape got bigger and bigger. the rest of the class noticed that if you cut all three of the shapes in half they will be the same amount.  my class had lots  of  had diffrent ideas.
HERE is what you need to do.

1 Make a copy of the drawing.

2 Fill in the space with your ideas.

3 Post it on your blog.

What  I thought was Challeging was when I saw the picture I thought that it was only dots making a shape.
