ReplyDeleteI really liked how you looked at the photo and said that there are six different colours of skittles, when I read what you wrote I realised I didn't even know that there were some that didn't have S on them and Ellenessa I think you should make you picture bigger because it was hard to read also how many skittles are there all together.

ReplyDeleteI like how you said some skittles have no S's. But I think the skittles all have S's on them because the S on the skittles are white and some of the colours are a bright colour like the S on the skittles.

Hi Ellenessa,There are lots ideas here. I have thought about the 's's not being so visible on some and have an idea. Can you think of another reason?

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your maths work with us. I too like how the Skittles are arranged in rainbow order. You have made a good list of observations. I really like how you wonder if they have all come from the same packet. I wonder if we got a packet of Skittles and put them in colour order if they would look the same? We might have to try it in class one day!
